South Cook Islands as E51WET on 60m by Magnus, SM6WET

Magnus, SM6WET, has authorization and will attempt to operate 60 meters while in the South Cook Islands as E51WET:

·         December 14-16 on Rarotonga Island

·         December 17 - January 4 on Aitutaki Atoll 
·         January 4 - 9 on Rarotonga Island again
 

Magnus reports that the Aitutaki QTH will likely be more conducive to operation on the lower bands, although he will not know specific details until his arrival. As with many expeditions, extra baggage can be very expensive. One additional bag results in a surcharge of $520 for this trip -- a big hit for any expedition, but particularly noteworthy for a one-man expedition.
