VU - India on 60m band

Hello,

India gets 3 new bands - 60, 630 and 2300m !

The Indian Government’s Telecommunications regulator has published a 2018 Update to the Indian National Frequency Plan, effective 25th October 2018, which lists new bands at 5 MHz/60m, 472 kHz/630m and 135 kHz/2300m.

5 351.5-5 366.5 kHz - Amateur 5.133B (Secondary, 15W EIRP)

472-479 kHz - Amateur 5.80A (Secondary, 1W EIRP )

135.7-137.8 kHz - Amateur 5.67A (Secondary, 1W EIRP)

The regulations are as follows current ITU criteria for these bands.

SM - Sweden on 60m band by Ben, SM7CFU

Hello all,

Swedish amateurs have got the 60m band!Radio Amateurs from Sweden have now gotten permission for the 60 meters band.
They will be allowed to operate in WRC-15 range 5315.5 - 5366 kHz, starting 1 November 2018.



Its appears the maximum power is limited to 15 watts ERP as always in the WRC-15 allocation.

Italy on 60m band by Angelo, IK0MIZ

Dears,

good news coming from Italians friends as follows...

"October 22, the decree was published in the Official Gazette of the Italian Republic with: 

National frequency distribution plan between 0 and 3,000 Ghz.(18A06719) (Gazz.Uff general series n.244 of 19-10-2018 - Ordinary Supplement n, 49) which assigns the portion from 5331 to 5365.5 khz (60 meters) with a maximum power of 15 Watt: The frequency band 5351.5 - 5366.5 khz is also attributed to the amateur radio service with a secondary service status. Radio operator stations using the 5351.5 - 5366.5 frequency band shall not exceed the maximum irradiated isopropic power of 15W (e.i.r.p.) (WRC-15)."

Several stations from Italy appeared on the band last nights. Even Carlo, ISOXCU can be worked on CW. Thanks Carlo for nice QSO!

S5 - Slovenia on 60m update by Bojan, S57AC

Slovenia on 60m band update: 
News from S5... All ops class A started to work by July 14 2018 on 60m band using the WARC allocation 5351.5 kHz to 5366.5 kHz with max. 15 W Eirp power. Best wishes Bojan, S57AC.

NEW COUNTRY: Bosnia- Herzegovina on 60m band

E77EBL was very active last night on the band. Thanks to Akadeemski for handing out an ATNO on the 60m band. We have to believe that he will be active even longer as there is many of us looking for him on CW...

ZP - Paraguay on 60m by Pino, ZP4KFX

Paraguay is joining 60m

 

Pino, ZP4KFX reports that Paraguay telecom regulator, CONATEL, has released the WRC-15 Amateur Secondary Allocation of 5351.5 to 5366.5 kHz with a maximum power of 25W EIRP.

Grenada:
Nobby G0VJG will be on from June 14 to 28 on SSB only. QSL to G4DFI.

MARKET REEF:
Col, MM0NDX of DX-World.net, plans to be active as OJ0/MM0NDX from Market Reef (weather permitting) during June 27-29.

Baker Island:
KH1/KH7Z: June 27 to July 7. > not interesting as FT8 PC game planned only. 

Samoa: 5W0GC:
Sept. 28 to about Oct 14.

Vanuatu YJ0GC:
Oct. 15 to Nov. 4.

YJ & 5W - Vanuatu and Samoa:
LZ1GC Stan is planning a two man operation from Vanuatu, but first a single op DXpedition from Samoa. It all starts September 28, as 5W0GC from Apia, Upolu Island (OC-097) by Stan. He plans to be on CW, SSB and RTTY on 60 Meters.

Next it's on to Vanuatu where he will team up with OM5ZW, Lubo, where they will operate as YJ0GC from October 15 to November 4. As for their antennas it will be verticals for 160, 80, 60. Again CW,SSB and RTTY. http://www.c21gc.com
